«Fossa delle Felci» is the highest peak of the seven islands (963 ms above the sea level). It's one of the two volcanoes of Salina and its origin can be still guessed thanks to the rocks that create a wide variety of stone walls, canyons and valleys.

The path winds up. Sometimes it can be kind of difficult, but the gorgeous Mediterranean vegetation creates a sort of shadowy tunnel, thanks to which you can go up even during the hottest hours of the day,

From time to time the wood opens apart and you can enjoy a great view over the strait which separates Salina from Lipari.
